Not every book can hook the reader from the page one, sentence one. Manier times I find dragging myself to keep the momentum till the 100th pages, where the plot starts to build up. I cannot say the same for this book. The ploy of the author starts working right from page one. I was hooked on to the story even during small breaks for daily course. But I was a bit disappointed with the hurry, author revealed the secrets. He seemed out of ink or ideas, while unfolding the mystery. The brutal facts of women violence are breath-taking. They are defined with shear reality and gave me a tingle in the spine. It was definitely a 4+ for me, if author had done a bit more justice to the criminals of 40 years lost girl.
